The Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce breakfast included a Nonprofit Spotlight presentation, where Ann Page, the new executive director of the McLean Orchestra as of Aug. 1, introduced herself and announced that the orchestra is changing its name to the Tysons McLean Orchestra. She explained that adding “Tysons” to the name will help the orchestra avoid being confused with the McLean Symphony and will also reflect its plans on playing in performance venues that are being constructed in Tysons. “We’re excited about the new name and we believe that we’re going to be very active in Tysons as well as McLean,” she said.
