Frank Stevens, grand marshal, welcomes everyone to the 14th annual Buddy Walk. Stevens is a disability advocate, actor, screenwriter, model, and athlete. In 2016, he received the Quincy Jones Exceptional Advocacy Award from the Global Down Syndrome Foundation.

The Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia held its 14th annual Buddy Walk on Sunday, Oct. 14 at Signal Hill Park in Manassas. The Buddy Walk is DSANV’s largest fundraiser. The money raised will be used to provide programs and services for those with Down syndrome throughout Northern Virginia. The event celebrates Down Syndrome Awareness Month and promotes acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.
