Empty grocery store shelves all around county.
The meat manager at one of Arlington’s large grocery store chains rearranges the few 
remaining packages of chicken on Sunday at noon. “The truck arrived at 6 a.m. today, and the chicken is almost gone. I put it all out.” He added, “You better buy what you want because I don’t know when I’ll get anymore.” He explains they are short on drivers for their stores around the state and down 150 delivery trucks. In the produce section, the lettuce bins are nearly empty. The grocery stockers say they are mostly back to normal in produce except for the lettuce. “There was a lettuce recall a couple of weeks ago and we just have trouble catching up.”
