Arlington has seven spraygrounds located around the county with differing hours and days of operation. Mosaic Park is temporarily closed for maintenance.
Lyon Village Park sprayground is a popular destination on a 90-degree Sunday afternoon. Leah and Dejan Milusic have brought 6-year-old Lev and 22-month old Elliot to the park to cool off. Leah says they just moved to Arlington two weeks ago from Portland, Maine to be close to family in Arlington.
“We love it here—so many things for children to do and great parks everywhere. I know we’ll stay here a long time.” But she says, “We don’t have spraygrounds in Portland. We have the ocean.”
