The Boston Market restaurant chain is expanding locally to Rockville Pike. JBG Rosenfeld Retail, a leasing, management and development company, has secured a site for the restaurant at Wintergreen Plaza.

Located near the intersection of Route 355 and Norbeck Road, the new 2,800 square-foot facility is currently under construction and is scheduled to open in September of this year. It will join anchor store Food Lion, Starbucks Coffee and others at the shopping center owned and operated by Fordham Development Company of Bethesda.

The chain currently occupies space at Loehmann's Plaza on Randolph Road in Rockville.

Boston Market, specializing in "home-style" entrees, began to "re-launch" itself in 2001 with an expanded menu and "an updated, more relaxed look."
