Alexandria police would like to hear from any citizen who has information about, or who may have been victimized by, Charles Franklin Harland.
Harland, 61, previously of 200 N. Pickett Street in Alexandria, is currently being held without bond in the Alexandria jail facing charges that he forcibly sodomized a nine-year-old boy whom he knew. He was arrested on May 17, and detectives have since learned that there are other victims who may have been sexually abused by Harland. These cases are under investigation.
“We hope that by releasing this picture and this information, if there are other victims, they will come forward,” said Amy Bertsch, a spokesperson for the department.
