Local children welcomed the Festival of Lights with a magic show Dec. 2 at the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia in Fairfax. Magician Jay Mattioli performed sleight of hand and other tricks for his audience, who also learned a few magic tricks themselves. Chanukah began Dec. 5.
