Recently, The Arc of Northern Virginia, Northern Virginia Training Center and Northern Virginia Community College recently conducted Virginia’s first-ever free dental clinic for persons with special needs at the NVCC Medical Education Campus in Springfield. The free clinic was preceded by a free workshop for dental professionals on Feb. 19 at NVTC. The day-long clinic provided initial evaluations, prophylaxis, fillings, and basic extractions to about 70 children and adults.
