Commonwealth Orthopaedics, the largest orthopaedic surgery group practice in Northern Virginia, opened its newest office on the campus of Inova Fair Oaks Hospital on Jan. 4. The office is located at 3620 Joseph Siewick Drive, Suite 100, Fairfax.

Board-certified orthopaedic surgeon Keith Lawhorn, M.D. recently joined Commonweath’s new Fair Oaks office. He received his B.A. and medical degree from the University of Virginia. Lawhorn completed a general surgery internship and orthopaedic residency at the Medical College of Virginia. He served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force for eight years, reaching the rank of lieutenant colonel. Lawhorn specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, fracture care and clinical research.
