Great Falls Resident Steven P. Mullins appointed to George Mason University Board of Visitors

— Great Falls resident Steven P. Mullins, Chief Financial Officer and President of SPM Consulting, was appointed by Gov. Bob McDonnell to a four year term on the George Mason University Board of Visitors.

The Board of Visitors is a policy-making and oversight body for George Mason University (GMU). Mullins grew up in Annandale and is a GMU alumnus. He is part of the management team of KZO Innovations, a provider of web-based video products located in Herndon, and identified as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on their company website. Mullins is also listed on the roster of the Bisnow Media Team as CFO, and described by that company on bisnow.com as,

"Steve Mullins, our rock and roll CFO from Great Falls, VA. Aside from being a seasoned CFO (three years as CFO at a NASDAQ-traded company with $1B valuation) and an awesome dad (two daughters, four and seven years old), this George Mason Alum shreds face on his Gibson Flying V (the guitar that Kirk Hammet from Metallica plays). And because we value diversity of thought here at Bisnow, Steve is also a hip-hop fanatic and can quote pretty much any hip hop song since 1994. So if you see Steve playing rock on stage, at a Jay Z concert, lounging in his NBA sneakers, or flying around in his Tesla S model make sure to throw up the rock and roll horns and salute the coolest CFO in the business."

Mullins moved to Great Falls 12 years ago, and lives here with his wife Cristina and their two children. His father Pat Mullins is Chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia.
