Hi! We are Teddy, Hobie, and Tessa (in that order) and live in Alexandria. Two years ago we all met down at ‘doggie beach’ by Ford’s Landing and immediately hit it off. Our mom’s were hanging out chatting, and we were having a ball chasing each other, roughhousing, and getting great exercise.
We’ve been friends EVER since. Teddy and Tessa are Havanese, and are the best friends a little dog could EVER have! I’m Hobie, the toy poodle in the middle, and it’s a miracle our Mom’s got us to pose for this picture, because we’re very active little dogs--We LOVE going on long nature hikes, overnight camping adventures, chasing critters, AND going swimming, indoors AND outdoors. We’ve found some GREAT swimming holes and awesome hikes!
In fact, we’re members of Fun Dog Fitness, founded by Linda Benson, a company dedicated to promoting healthy dogs by exercising them daily for at least an hour and 1/2. Fun Dog Fitness offers a variety of outdoor exercise activity for dogs, which includes pick up and drop off. It’s a wonderful service and because Alexandria is so dog friendly, there are many options and things to do for active pups like us! Dogs LOVE being out in fresh and open spaces, enjoying the smells and sounds, running free and playing with other dogs. It helps keep us healthy, fit and happy.
With Spring right around the corner, Doggie Happy Hour at The Monaco hotel will be starting back up in April. We enjoy going and hanging out with our friends there. We always meet new friends too! Hope to see you there!
