Fairfax County Police detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 72-year-old Melvin “Mel” Wylie. Mel was last seen Tuesday, April 11, driving eastbound on Edsall Road at Industrial Drive in Alexandria around 3:30 p.m. He suffers from dementia and may be in need of immediate medical attention.
Mel is around 5 feet 7 inches tall, approximately 230 pounds, balding, with hazel eyes. He is believed to be driving his 2008, black Ford Taurus, with Virginia license plates XTC3818. The car has damage to the front driver’s side corner.
