Solar Cooking

Churchill Road third graders in Carrie Banfield’s class are learning about renewable energy. They built solar ovens, then created hypotheses as to whether or not the sun could heat and melt chocolate for s’mores. Third graders Macey Warshaw, Ben Huang, Jack Cunha-Mendonca and Ellis Farah work with their teacher, Banfield, in the outdoor classroom.
