Supervisor Sharon Bulova (D-Braddock) hosted her annual Taste of Braddock, Thursday, Dec. 7. Each year, she invites active members of the community, including elected officials, to come and taste a variety of foods donated from Burke, Fairfax and Annandale restaurants. The Annandale High School Quartet set up a small stage in the waiting room area of Bulova's office and played live entertainment. Outback Steakhouse, Aladdin's Eatery, Spartan's Restaurant and Villa Bella were some of the restaurants that contributed food this year. Bulova said the event is her way of thanking community members who play such an important role in the community. She said she invites anyone who attends public meetings, participates with task forces or homeowners' associations, and volunteers their time.
