Eric Alexander Jones, 23, of Herndon, died on Friday, July 13, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident. Eric was born in Fairfax County on March 26, 1984. He was the son of Ralph and Patty Jones of Herndon. Eric attended Oakton High School and graduated in 2002 from Westfield High School. He was a student at Northern Virginia Community College. He was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Reston.
In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his maternal grandmother, Rose Tulenko of Latrobe, Pa. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles including Tony and Christi Tulenko, Commander Edward and Connie Tulenko, Stephen Tulenko, Clair and Noreen Jones, Ned and Deborra Jones, Angie and Bob Gault, Jane and Paul White, Barbara Kelley, Mary Beth and Bill Yaeger, Bonnie Travis and Pam and Mike Cox. He also leaves behind many cousins and friends.
Eric was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Nick Tulenko and his paternal grandparents Ralph and Mary Jane Jones. The family received friends on Monday, July 16 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 11900 Lawyers Road, Reston, where a Mass of Christian Burial was scheduled for Tuesday, July 17. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by Adams-Green Funeral Home, Herndon.
