Graduation for the T.C. Williams Class of 2009 was completed Thursday, July 30 as 42 Titans crossed the stage in the John C. Albohm Auditorium and received their diplomas. The students during the summer session completed their last requirements to be eligible for graduation.

The T.C. Williams AJROTC Color Guard opened the ceremony with the presentation of the flags. 2008 TCW graduate, Anthony Snead, Jr. made an appearance and sang the National Anthem. TCW summer school principal Grace Taylor welcomed the graduates with their friends and family to the commencement.

Graduating senior Christopher Nyugen was selected as the student speaker followed by retired, ACPS principal Carolyn Lewis delivering the Commencement Address. A light reception was served afterwards in the school lobby.
