William (Bill) and Julia Baker Huff celebrated their 50th anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 29 at the Tanoan Country Club in Albuquerque, N.M. Long-time residents of the Mount Vernon community, they recently retired and relocated to Albuquerque. They were married on Aug. 28, 1959 at Ft. Bliss, Texas. Bill Huff served until 1980 as an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and he went on to own his own engineering firm until his retirement in 2006. Julia Baker Huff served for 32 years at the Copyright office of the Library of Congress until her retirement in 2008. They have two children. Cathryn Wooton and her husband, Evan, live in Richmond, Va., and have two children, Annika and Jansen. Dr. Dave Huff and his wife, Laura, live in St. Claire Shores, Mich. with their two children, Lauren and Joe.
