Reston Hospital Center to Host Girls’ Day Out Event
Reston Hospital Center invites friends, sisters, mothers and colleagues for a day of pampering when they host their annual Girls’ Day Out event taking place on Saturday, Nov. 2. This women’s health expo celebrates women and provides a full day of activities, such as a keynote luncheon, free health screenings, shopping and breakout sessions on a variety of topics. The day kicks off with a luncheon featuring keynote speaker Beth Cabrera, Ph.D., of Cabrera Insights, who thrives on empowering women to live authentic, meaningful lives with a positive psychology approach for achieving greater success and well-being. The afternoon will be filled with breakout sessions—from skincare trends, to “pink toolbox” household fix it tips, and financial planning to self-defense. Last year more than 200 women across the Metro region attended the event.
The event will be held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Westfields Marriott. Registration is $35 and tickets may be purchased at restonhospital.com/spirit.
