Landon Labuskes

Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax is celebrating junior Landon Labuskes for earning a perfect score on his AP Calculus AB exam. AP exams are based on a 5-point scale, where a 5 is equivalent to a grade of A in the corresponding college course. Labuskes received the top score of 5. Labuskes not only received the top score of 5, but was one of only 12 students in the world to earn every point possible on the AP Calculus AB exam, receiving the maximum score on each portion of the test.

Of approximately 4.5 million AP exams taken by 2.5 million high school students in 2015, only 322 students earned every point possible on an AP exam, a truly rare accomplishment.

Labuskes took the AP Calculus AB exam in spring 2015, as a PVI sophomore.
