With no formal group sponsorship, and using only social media, a group of friends connected through West Springfield High School organized a well-attended Springfield protest in support of Black Lives Matter for several hours on June 10. The event at the intersection of Old Keene Mill and Rolling Roads drew a diverse crowd of all ages for the peaceful protest.
